Authorising a STR

You can authorise a STR only if some user sends it to for approval.

To authorise a STR

  1. Access the STR module.

  2. On the STR Management Navigator screen, click the Authorise STR [MLO] link.
    The Summary Of STRs - New screen appears.

  3. Click the STR Name link of the STR to be authorised.
    The View STR screen appears.

  4. Specify the following field details.

Field

Description

Send To

Depending upon the hierarchy structure, names of the group(s)/individual(s) appear in this list.

Select the group(s) and/or individual(s) to whom you want to send this STR for approval. This is a mandatory field.

Note:

If you have selected any group and you want to view the individuals under the selected group, click the View Group Users button. A window displaying all the users from the selected group appears. After viewing the required details click the Close button to close the window.

 

Reason for suspicion (Remarks)

Type the reason for suspicion. This is a mandatory field.

Attached File(s)

You can add, remove, or view attached files.

To add file

  1. Click the Attached File(s) button.
    The Attach File For STR dialog box appears.

  2. Click the Browse button.
    The Choose file dialog box appears.

  3. Select the file to be attached.

  4. Click the Open button.

  5. Click the Add button to attach the selected file.
    The selected file appears in the Attached Files list box.

  6. Click the Done button to return to the View STR screen.
    Name of the attached file appears in the Attached File(s) list box.

To remove attached file

  1. On the Attach File For STR dialog box, from the Attached Files list box, select the file to be removed.

  2. Click the Remove button.
    The selected file gets removed from the Attached Files list box.

  3. Click the Done button to return to the View STR screen.

To view attached file

  1. On the Attach File For STR dialog box, from the Attached Files list box, select the file to be viewed.

  2. Click the View button.
    The File Download dialog box appears.

  3. Click the Open button to open the file.
    The selected file opens in the appropriate application.

  4. Click the Done button to return to the View STR screen.

Identity Of Client

Select this check box if you want to categorise STR based on the identification of client.

Background Of Client

Select this check box if you want to categorise STR based on the background of client.

Multiple Accounts

Select this check box if you want to categorise STR based on the multiple accounts.

Activity in Account

Select this check box if you want to categorise STR based on the activity in account.

Nature Of Transaction

Select this check box if you want to categorise STR based on the nature of transaction.

Value Of Transaction

Select this check box if you want to categorise STR based on the value of transaction.

Other Suspicion Reason

Type the reason for suspicion.

  1. Do one of the following, if required:

    1. To view STR history

      1. Click the View STR History link.
        The View STR History window appears.

      2. View the STR history as required.

      3. Click the Close button to close the window.

    2. To view or delete transactions added to the STR

      1. Click the View Transactions link if the STR type is RBE or Regular TXN.
        The View Transactions window appears.

      2. To delete a transaction

        1. Select the Delete check box against the transactions to be deleted.

Note:

You cannot delete all transactions. At least one transaction should be present in the list as STR is created for that customer.

  1. Return to the View STR screen.

  2. Click the Authorise button.
    The STR Management Navigator screen appears. The authorised STR is added in the AUTHORIZED category.
