Viewing SWIFT Violations

The violations of SWIFT messages are either name based or rule based. The name based violations can be viewed as the SDN violations and the rule based violations as the RBE violations.

To view SWIFT violations

  1. Access the Swift module.

  2. On the navigation pane, click the View Swift Violations link.
    The View Swift Violations screen appears.

  3. Specify the following field details.

Field

Description

Scan Date Range

From

Select the date from the drop-down list, from when you want to view SWIFT violations.

To

Select the date from the drop-down list, till when you want to view SWIFT violations.

Search Type

SDN

Click this option to view SDN Beneficiary Name based violations.

RBE

Click this option to view rule based violations.

Status

Select the status from the drop-down list.

  1. Click the Submit button.
    The View Swift Violations screen appears.

Note:

You can view transaction details by clicking the appropriate Txn No link. The Swift Transaction Details window appears. Click the Close button to close the window.after viewing details as required .

  1. If the Search Type is SDN then click the appropriate No. of Matches link, to view scan result.
    The View Scan Result screen appears.

  2. Do any one of the following on the View Swift Violations screen if the Search Type is RBE or on the View Scan Result screen if the Search Type is SDN:

    1. To keep the violations on hold

      1. Select the Select check box against the violations on which you want to take a decision later.

      2. Click the On Hold button.
        A warning message appears.

      3. Click the OK button to proceed.
        The status changes to On Hold in the Status column.

    2. To block the violations

      1. Select the Select check box against the violations that you want to block.

      2. Click the Block button.
        A warning message appears.

      3. Click the OK button to proceed.
        The Select check box becomes not available and the status changes to Block in the Status column.

    3. To authorise the violations

      1. Select the Select check box against the violations that you want to authorise.

      2. Click the Authorize button.
        A warning message appears.

      3. Click the OK button to proceed.
        The Select check box becomes not available and the status changes to Authorize in the Status column.
