Viewing SWIFT Violations

The violations of SWIFT messages are either name based or rule based. The name based violations can be viewed as the SDN violations and the rule based violations as the RBE violations.

To view SWIFT violations

  1. Access the Swift module.

  2. On the navigation pane, click the View Swift Violations link.
    The View Swift Violations screen appears.

  3. Specify the following field details.

Field

Description

Scan Date Range

From

Select the date from the drop-down list, from when you want to view SWIFT violations.

To

Select the date from the drop-down list, till when you want to view SWIFT violations.

Status

Select the status from the drop-down list.

  1. Click the Submit button.
    The details of swift violations appear.

  2. Click the appropriate Message ID: link, to view the transaction details.
    The Swift Transaction Details window appears, displaying the data of the selected message.

  3. View the transaction and violation details as required.

  4. If the violation  type is SDN, then click the appropriate SDN Id link of the Violation Details table to view the details of that SDN.
    The SDN Details appears in another block table.

  5. Type the Comments. This is a mandatory field.

  6. Do any one of the following:

    1. To keep the violations on hold

      1. Click the On Hold button.
        A warning message appears.

      2. Click the OK button to proceed.
        The status changes to On Hold in the Status column.

    2. To block the violations

      1. Click the Block button.
        A warning message appears.

      2. Click the OK button to proceed.
        The status changes to Block in the Status column.

    3. To authorise the violations

      1. Click the Authorize button.
        A warning message appears.

      2. Click the OK button to proceed.
        The status changes to Authorize in the Status column.

Note:

You can click the Hold, Block, and Authorized links on the Swift Scan Statistics screen to view details of those messages.
