Maintaining the False Positive List

The false positive list includes all customers who are not suspicious according to the bank.  

The system enables you to perform the following activities:

Adding a Customer to the False Positive List

If the Scan Type is CIP and the Status is New then only you can add the customer to the false positive list.

To add a customer to the false positive list

  1. Access the CIP module.

  2. Scan result for the suspicious customers.
    The SDN Details screen appears. The violations are grouped by customers.

  3. Click the No of Matches link of the appropriate customer to view the details.
    The SDN Details window appears.

  4. Select the check box on the header row, if the customer is not suspicious.

  5. Click the Add to False Positive button.
    The Add comments for false positive screen appears.

  6. Specify the following field details.

Field

Description

From Date

Type the date from when you want to skip the selected customer from CIP scan. This is a mandatory field.

Date should be in the DD-MMM-YYYY format that is 15-Aug-2008.

To Date

Type the date till when you want to skip the selected customer from CIP scan. This is a mandatory field.

Date should be in the DD-MMM-YYYY format that is 15-Aug-2008.

Comment

Type the reason for skipping CIP scan for the selected customer. This is a mandatory field.

  1. Click the Add Comment button.
    The system adds the customer to the false positive list.

Note:

You can reject the customer temporarily from the violation list for the day by clicking the Reject button. You can view the same customer in the list next day when you scan the result.

Viewing the False Positive List

Perform the following steps to view the false positive list.

To view false positive list

  1. Access the CIP module.

  2. On the navigation pane, click the View False Positive link.
    The View False Positive screen appears.

  3. View the details as required.

Deleting a Customer From the False Positive List

Perform the following steps to delete a customer from the list.

To delete a customer from the false positive list

  1. Access the CIP module.

  2. On the navigation pane, click the View False Positive link.
    The View False Positive screen appears.

  3. Select the Select check box against the customer record to be deleted from the false positive list.

  4. Click the Delete False Positive button.
    A warning message appears.

  5. Click the Ok button to proceed.
    The system deletes the selected customer from the false positive list.
