Modifying Value of Dynamic Rule Parameters

The system enables you to modify value of dynamic rule parameters.

To modify value of dynamic rule parameters

  1. Access the Dynamic Rule module.

  2. On the navigation pane, click the View Rules link.
    The Dynamic Rules List screen appears.

  3. Click the Rule ID link of the rule to be viewed.
    The Dynamic Rule Parameters List screen appears. If dynamic rule is parameter based, then parameter appear for value modification.

  4. Modify the following field details.

Description

Modify the description of the dynamic rule.

Disable

Select this check box to disable dynamic rule.

Value

Modify the value of the listed parameters, as required.

Date Picker Icon

 

This icon is available only if the parameter is of the date type.

Click the icon to modify date. A Date Picker screen appears.

Select the date by selecting any of the following three options, and then click the OK button.

  • No. of Days: Select this option to set a dynamic date [that is the date that gets calculated based on database server system date].
    To make condition apply 2 days before system date, select MINUS sign from the Action drop-down list, and type 2 in text box.
    To make condition apply 2 days after system date, select PLUS sign from the Action drop-down list, and type 2 in text box.

  • Calendar: Select this option to apply a fixed date in the rule condition.

  • Last Run Date: Select this option to apply dynamic date based on EOD process last run date.
    To make condition apply 2 days before EOD process last run date, select MINUS sign from the Action drop-down list and type 2 in text box.
    To make condition apply 2 days after EOD process last run date, select PLUS sign from the Action drop-down list and type 2 in text box.

Schedule

 

Select this check box to schedule the dynamic rule.

This section expands only if dynamic rule to be modified is of the financial rule type.

Dynamic rule gets scheduled once EOD process is executed.

Risk Factor

This field is available only if the Schedule check box is selected.

Select the risk rating from the drop-down list.

 

 

Validity

From

This field is available only if the Schedule check box is selected.

Type the date in the dd-Mon-yyyy format, from when you want to schedule the dynamic rule. This is a mandatory field.
For example, 24-Jun-2006

To

This field is available only if the Schedule check box is selected.

Type the date in the dd-Mon-yyyy format, till when you want to schedule the dynamic rule. This is a mandatory field.
For example, 10-Oct-2009

Period

This field is available only if the Schedule check box is selected.

Select the period from the drop-down list when you want to run the dynamic rule. For example, Daily

This is a mandatory field.

Group

This field is available only if the Schedule check box is selected.

Select the group from the drop-down list.

  1. Click the Update button.
    The dynamic rule gets updated.
    Or...
    If the dynamic rule  is scheduled then a message about record successfully sent for authorization appears and after authorization the record gets updated.
