Maintaining Banned Materials Master

The banned materials master maintains a list of all banned materials. For example, tobacco and kerosene.

The system enables you to perform the following activities:

Adding Banned Material

Perform the following steps to add banned material.

To add banned material

  1. Access the Master module.

  2. On the navigation pane, click the Banned Materials Master link.
    The Banned Materials Master screen appears.

  3. Specify the following field details.

Field

Description

Goods/Material

Type the name of the material that is banned. It should not be less than 3 characters and greater than 20 characters. This is a mandatory field.

Description

Type the description of the banned material. It should not be less than 3 characters and greater than 50 characters. This is a mandatory field.

  1. Click the Add New button.
    A message about record successfully sent for authorization appears and after authorization the record gets added.
    Or…
    The system adds banned material to the list and a message about successful addition of banned material appears on the Banned Materials Master screen.

Modifying Banned Material

Perform the following steps to modify banned material.

To modify banned material

  1. Access the Master module.

  2. On the navigation pane, click the Banned Materials Master link.
    The Banned Materials Master screen appears.

  3. Click the Material link of the banned material to be modified.
    The fields are populated with the values of the banned material to be modified and the Add New button changes to the Update button.

  4. Modify the field details as required.

  5. Click the Update button.
    A message about record successfully sent for authorization appears and after authorization the record gets updated.
    Or…
    The system updates banned material details and a message about successful modification of banned material appears on the Banned Materials Master screen.

Deleting Banned Material

Perform the following steps to delete banned materials.

To delete banned material

  1. Access the Master module.

  2. On the navigation pane, click the Banned Materials Master link.
    The Banned Materials Master screen appears.

  3. Click the Delete icon next to the banned material to be deleted.
    A warning message appears.

  4. Click the Ok button.
    A message about record successfully sent for authorization appears and after authorization the record gets deleted.
    Or…
    The system deletes banned material details and a message about successful deletion of banned material appears on the Banned Materials Master screen.

Viewing Banned Materials

Perform the following steps to view banned materials.

To view banned materials

  1. Access the Master module.

  2. On the navigation pane, click the Banned Materials Master link.
    The Banned Materials Master screen appears.

  3. View the details as required.
