The system parameter master maintains all critical, general, and internal parameters used by the system.
The system enables you to perform the following activities:
Perform the following steps to add a system parameter.
To add a system parameter
On the navigation pane, click the
Sys Param Master link.
The Sys Param Master screen
appears.
Click the Insert
link.
The Add Sys Param Details screen
appears.
Specify the following field details.

Type the system parameter code. This is a mandatory field. |

Type the value of the system parameter. This is a mandatory field. |

Select the type of the system parameter from the drop-down list. |

Type the description of the system parameter. |
Click the Submit
button.
A message about record successfully sent for authorization appears
and after authorization the record
gets added.
Or…
The system adds system parameter to the list and a message about successful
addition of system parameter appears on the Sys
Param Master screen.
Perform the following steps to modify a system parameter.

The system does not allow you to modify internal system parameters. |
To modify a system parameter
On the
navigation pane, click the Sys Param
Master link.
The Sys Param Master screen
appears.
Click
the Parameter Code link of the
system parameter to be modified.
The Edit Sys Param Details
screen appears.
Modify the field details as required.
Click
the Update button.
A message about record successfully sent for authorization appears
and after authorization the record
gets updated.
Or…
The system updates system parameter details and a message about successful
modification of system parameter appears on the Sys
Param Master screen.
Perform the following steps to view system parameters.
To view system parameters
On the navigation pane, click the
Sys Param Master link.
The Sys Param Master screen
appears.
View the details as required.
